About Me
I am passionate about helping children thrive in today’s complex social world. A career that spans acting, law, playwriting, and adult education, has shaped the way I think, write and connect. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief in the power of empathy, creativity, and storytelling to help us understand ourselves and each other.
My book, The Bully Blocker: A Play and Other Resources, is designed to give educators a practical and engaging way to tackle bullying in the classroom. Blending drama, discussion, and evidence-based strategies, this resource aims to help students build resilience, confidence, and empathy. It encourages connection and conversation, because that’s how real change begins.
I love taking complex ideas and turning them into stories that make tough issues easier to explore. Whether I’m writing for the stage, the classroom, or the page — my goal is to spark meaningful dialogue and support young people in feeling seen, heard, and empowered.
I studied law (BA LLB Hons, University of Sydney) and playwriting at NIDA, and I live in Sydney with my family, including a much-adored whippet. These days, I continue to write, speak, and create resources that I hope make a real difference.
